Sarah Cavrak

Sarah has been practicing yoga for 14 years and teaching for four. She has been studying under the guidance of her Teacher, Neda Draupadi Honarvar, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, since 2010, and is a 200-hour Yoga Alliance registered teacher. She began teaching internationally after she completed her PhD in Cognitive Sciences from Georgia State University in 2013.

Her long-term love affair with the practices of Yoga have created a beautiful union between her own passions of finding empowerment from the movements and mechanics of the physical body, the abundant Life which is accessible through mindful breathing, and to Divine connection through sacred ritual and ceremony. Through her own Process, she has come to believe that the body is a sacred and essential vessel through which the Great Spirit(s) speak.

She currently leads monthly meditation circles for women in Atlanta as part of The WILD Woman Project – a movement aimed at awaken women to their most authentic and undomesticated nature, and reimagining what it means to be a woman, untamed.
