Rachel Peavy

    Rachel was introduced to yoga at the age of 16 by an 80-year-old yogi named Ruby. Immediately inspired by Ruby’s flexibility and vitality, Rachel continued to immerse herself in asana practice throughout her young adult years and quickly learned yoga’s powerful ability to bring inner and outer balance to her life and began to explore the other branches that yoga offers.

    Though Rachel loves exploring challenging sequences, she recognizes that in this fast-paced world, it’s sometimes more of a challenge to allow yourself to slow down and breathe. She is passionate about making yoga accessible to everyone and enjoys helping both new and experienced yogis find strength, attain balance and build ease in their practice. Rachel completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training under the guidance of Neda Draupadi Honarvar in June 2013. Since then, she has continued to deepen her practice through yoga workshops and

Since then, she has continued to deepen her practice through yoga workshops and trainings, including Gina Minyard’s BODY of LIGHT Yoga Immersion at Yoga Collective and Elizabeth Rowan’s The Alchemy of Yoga 100 Hour Immersion. Rachel is certified in Level I and II Usui Reiki and is working to become a Usui Reiki Master. She lives in Atlanta with her husband, Dallas,

    She lives in Atlanta with her husband, Dallas, cat named Shiloh, and two giant, fluffy white dogs – River and Belle (please don’t judge her if her yoga pants are covered in fur). She hopes to be practicing and teaching yoga well into her 80s.
